The headquarters of AGN is in Harare, Zimbabwe, where it is registered as an independent, international, non-profit-making network. It shall have two Patrons, one from the continent and the other from the Diaspora. The Patrons are still to be appointed. AGN shall have a Board of Governors with 30 members and most of them have already been appointed. Within this Board, there is an Executive Committee with ten members.
The Board is made up of politicians, activist intellectuals, writers, media practitioners and others who are all active and outstanding revolutionary Pan-Africanists from different parts of Africa and its Diaspora. This makes AGN to be a very powerful and truly global network for revolutionary Pan-Africanism and the Second Liberation Struggle of Africa and the Black World. AGN has two types of membership. Board Members and Associate Members.
Funds permitting, the Board will meet at least once every five years. In between these meetings, communication is maintained, consultations take place and decisions are taken through the extensive use of telecommunications and internet services.
